We have an exciting opportunity for a bright and service-minded IT Specialist with an agile and solution-focused approach to join our global IT team. The successful candidate will pair their spark, charm, and empathy with a responsive and professional demeanor to offer exceptional customer service to staff within the business. This position reports to the Associate Director of IT and is part of the team responsible for providing outstanding technical support to the business. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on help desk or technical user support experience as well as being a team player with a sense of fun. We are looking for someone with a solution-focused approach and the ability to creatively handle both basic and complex user issues. We want someone with the ability to demonstrate sound judgment, use resources wisely, and know when to ask for advice or escalate matters to more senior team members. Our ideal candidate will understand that their priority is to get their colleague up and running quickly. Most importantly, individuals in this role must have a passion for customer service, be driven to attain positive results, and have a team-centered mentality.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess at least 1-3 years of general IT support experience. Experience supporting executives is highly preferred. Working closely with the global IT team, the candidate must be able to document and support all work activities and be willing to proactively seek out and present solutions to chronic support issues. Above all the ideal candidate must be approachable, structured in nature, enjoy technology and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment.
  • IT-related degree and/or IT certifications/ITIL Foundation v4 certification
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting audio visual technology, including web/video conferencing, large displays, conference room support, and basic sound design
  • Experience with iOS and macOS administration, including MDM
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with imaging computers utilizing Microsoft WDS
  • Solid experience with software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Solid experience with remote management tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with FreshService and Microsoft 365 are strongly preferred.
