About The Position

Carley Corporation is seeking an IT Specialist to support the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) in Port Hueneme, CA. This contract-contingent role requires daily onsite support, the ability to obtain and maintain required security credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC), up to 10% travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on limited occasions. The position is full-time, exempt, and salary-based. Requirements

5 years’ experience or related experience in training development and computer systems and applications.
Analyze and refine systems requirements.
Plan and design systems architecture
Write, debug, and maintain code.
Determine and design applications architecture.
Determines output media/formats.
Work with customers to test applications.
Evaluate new applications software technologies.
Ensures the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services.

Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Navy programs
Experience supporting training, readiness, manpower, personnel, or operational analytics initiatives
Experience working with enterprise data systems, relational databases, or cloud-based analytics environments
Experience supporting predictive analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence initiatives
Experience developing executive-level dashboards and performance metrics
Familiarity with Navy training systems, CETARS, FLTMPS, or related Navy data environments
Experience supporting process improvement or data modernization initiatives
