About The Position

Carley Corporation is seeking an IT Specialist to support the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) in Port Hueneme, CA. This contract-contingent role requires daily onsite support, the ability to obtain and maintain required security credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC), up to 10% travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on limited occasions. The position is full-time, exempt, and salary-based. Requirements

  • 5 years’ experience or related experience in training development and computer systems and applications.
  • Analyze and refine systems requirements.
  • Plan and design systems architecture
  • Write, debug, and maintain code.
  • Determine and design applications architecture.
  • Determines output media/formats.
  • Work with customers to test applications.
  • Evaluate new applications software technologies.
  • Ensures the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of application software services.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Navy programs
  • Experience supporting training, readiness, manpower, personnel, or operational analytics initiatives
  • Experience working with enterprise data systems, relational databases, or cloud-based analytics environments
  • Experience supporting predictive analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence initiatives
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with Navy training systems, CETARS, FLTMPS, or related Navy data environments
  • Experience supporting process improvement or data modernization initiatives
