The Office of Information and Technology Services (ITS) works to build the capacity of schools to use information and technology, maintain network infrastructure, security standards, and support other departments to meet district goals. ITS provides innovative technology solutions that improve the quality of education for students, reduce the administrative burden on educators, facilitate parent interaction, increase community engagement, and support CPS’ mission of transparency by focusing on the ease and equity of access to information. The Information & Technology Services (ITS) Summer Associate will support a variety of ITS work streams while rotating through various teams to assist with relevant projects and activities. Summer Associates will support the Information Security team and/or Web Production team. This role will report to the Manager, Web Production and Director, Information Security. This temporary position will be compensated for time worked on an hourly basis. The work schedule for this role will consist of an estimated 40 hours per week for an anticipated period of 10 weeks beginning June 15, 2026 to August 21, 2026, subject to flexibility pending the timing of background check clearance. Due to the temporary nature of this work, this is not a benefit-eligible position.
