About The Position

This role involves managing and updating hardware and software inventories, maintaining change logs, and working with Secure The Enterprise (STE) and Secure The Network (STN) initiatives. The consultant will also handle tasks related to LatteArt, Gatekeeper, XACTA notices, SEAR audit logs, and POAM for IAVAs. A key part of the role includes coordinating with system owners and administrators on various Security System Plan (SSP) efforts, reviewing scans, and remediating issues. Additionally, the position is responsible for addressing computer incident security reports and managing the authorization process for new and legacy systems.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
  • Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hardware & software inventory updates & change log updates
