About The Position

This opportunity is for an IT Project Analyst who thrives in a dynamic work environment where Information Technology (IT) is central to the mission. The role involves analyzing and responding to user inquiries and contributing to improved project efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities include performing various professional technology support tasks within a Navy mailbox, such as handling account access requests, providing application support, troubleshooting account issues, referring users to command representatives, escalating priority issues, and consolidating daily requests. The analyst will work directly with clients to ensure effective task management, empower clients through clear communication, and ensure program goals and quality standards are met. This includes engaging with clients to gather, understand, and define IT requirements, then translating these into project plans and milestones. The position also involves contributing to the translation of broader program goals and concepts into well-designed project plans to help clients develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Project managers in this organization are expected to manage client relationships, achieve project goals, participate in organizational development, and contribute to team success.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience supporting the DoD in a professional environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools, including Teams for collaboration
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
  • Ability to organize and manage information from different sources
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to perform shift work
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IT Help Desk
  • Experience supporting the Navy
  • Experience with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service lifecycle or IT Service Management (ITSM)
