About The Position

The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, operation, and support of the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, and services. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the IT Manager ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of all technology resources while providing leadership for technical support, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and technology projects. The IT Manager serves as a strategic partner to departments across the organization, ensuring technology solutions support business objectives, improving operational efficiency, and providing an exceptional user experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible information technology experience.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting macOS systems.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with enterprise networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, and endpoint management.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and service providers.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting audio systems, including a 64 channel digital mixer, wired and wireless microphones, analog and digital amplifiers, and speakers is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation, maintenance, and performance of the organization's technology infrastructure, including Windows servers, Network infrastructure, Cloud services, Telecommunications, Storage systems, and End-user devices
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and services.
  • Maintain system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Oversee hardware and software deployment, upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle replacement.
  • Maintain accurate technology asset inventories, licensing records, and technical documentation.
  • Manage Help Desk operations and technical support services.
  • Establish and monitor service level expectations and response times.
  • Provide escalation support for complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain support procedures, knowledge base articles, and user documentation.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the organization
  • Administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and security settings.
  • Support business applications and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve collaboration and productivity.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Manage endpoint protection, identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, and security monitoring.
  • Conduct cybersecurity awareness training.
  • Assist with audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments.
  • Manage and support network switches, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, VPN connectivity, Internet services
  • Ensure secure and consistent device configuration and compliance.
  • Support and maintain conference room technology including Logitech TapIP and/or Q-Sys control systems.
  • Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet environments.
  • Troubleshoot HDMI, USB, wireless presentation systems, and network-connected conferencing equipment.
  • Lead and participate in technology projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate internal staff, consultants, and vendors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervise IT support staff, consultants, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist the Director of Technology in developing technology strategy and long-term roadmaps.
  • Prepare reports, metrics, budgets, and recommendations for technology investments.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required.
