About The Position

The Boeing Company seeks an experienced Information Technology Manager in our Everett, WA location to lead the Boeing Configuration Services (BCS) and Data Migration engineering team within the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Engineering & Product Support division. You will lead a globally distributed software team that designs, builds, deploys, and supports Boeing Configuration Services & Data Migration solutions that enable Boeing engineers across the product lifecycle. This hands‑on manager will combine technical leadership, people development, and cross‑functional delivery to improve engineering productivity, system reliability, and user experience.

Requirements

  • minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 3+ years experience in working with agile teams and agile software development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with and/or managing contractors, subcontractors or suppliers
  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present status, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and non‑technical leaders.
  • Experience integrating with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, CATIA, 3DX) or related engineering toolchains
  • Experience with enterprise security, identity, and cloud architectures used in aerospace/engineering contexts
  • Experience with vendor/contractor management experience and budget/resource planning

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed BCS & Data Migration engineering team and direct reports supporting the broader 3DX PLM product family; cultivate an inclusive, accountable, human‑centered team culture.
  • Own the team roadmap and deliverables: plan work, prioritize backlog, and ensure on‑time delivery of milestones and capabilities.
  • Manage the full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, automated testing, CI/CD, release, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Partner with Product, IT Operations, and IT Security to collect requirements, define acceptance criteria, and set realistic timelines.
  • Own resource planning and budget inputs: hiring plans, tool/service acquisition, staffing tradeoffs, and succession planning.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership
