Schmidt Electric Company (SEC) is a full-service electrical contractor based in Austin, TX, with an additional office in Houston. The IT Manager (ITM) is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of all computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. The ITM supervises the implementation and maintenance of SEC’s overall computing needs. The ITM is responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and business-aligned technology support for SEC. This role balances day-to-day IT operations, user support, compliance with EMCOR standards, technology planning, staff leadership, and coordination with corporate IT resources to support field and office operations.
