The Ohio Department of Taxation is seeking to fill one (1) Information Technology Manager 1 position in the Information Services Division. What you’ll do as an Information Technology Manager 1: Supervise IT support staff responsible for service desk operations, inventory control, end‑user support, and device distribution. Manage daily workflow, monitor workloads, provide coaching, complete evaluations, support professional development, and assist in hiring and onboarding. Oversee ServiceNow service desk processes, handle advanced escalations, and coordinate coverage to ensure timely and prompt resolution of issues. Strategically plan for hardware replacement and assist with IT procurement. Provide assistance with the onboarding of new staff, maintain documentation and job aids, contribute content for internal platforms, and support IT needs for agency events. Analyze user needs, assist with system updates, and ensure adherence to IT standards.
