About The Position

The IT Manager will manage the internal IT staff and managed service provider(s) overseeing day-to-day operations and project initiatives involving on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure services and IT systems. This individual will report directly to the CIO and be responsible for keeping the senior leadership team aware through formal reporting and meetings. Maintains a comprehensive understanding of the bank's IT readiness and provides support for mission-critical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience required managing teams and with responsibility for completing complex deployment projects within budget and on specific timelines.
  • Experience designing and/or troubleshooting cloud and on-premise infrastructure problems and providing superior customer service.
  • Experience managing and supporting Microsoft office 365 environments.
  • Experience working with network monitoring systems or equivalent experience.
  • Detailed understanding of IP addressing, IP routing protocols, Internet technologies and standards, Internet security issues, circuit technologies, communications engineering standards, web and network access technologies, computer office software suites.
  • Experience of successfully working in and contributing to a workplace team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Basic Office Machine Operation Skills, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, Fax, postage machine, etc.

  • Advanced networking certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system reliability, performance, and uptime across infrastructure and applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the IT staff, including staffing, performance management, and workload prioritization.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, standard operations procedures, and best practices.
