About The Position

ProSidian seeks an Information Technology (IT) Coordinator for Program Support on a SCA – Service Contract Act / Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) Basis for Working On-Site (Client Site) in The Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Area (Aiken, South Carolina). This role is contract contingent and generally located across the Aiken, South Carolina region, supporting a high-hazard nuclear cleanup environment requiring disciplined staffing, safety, quality, security, and regulatory compliance. The role is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Administrative Specialist II and is principally focused on ProSidian Strategic Resourcing and Professional Staff Augmentation for Information Technology Coordination (ITCoord) Solutions and Services. We seek candidates with relevant Nuclear And Environmental Management Sector Experience to support professional services engagement for clients such as SRMC. This position is functional area/swim lane/category discipline professional for Information Technology Coordination (ITCoord). The role may be converted to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. The Administrative Specialist II role(s) are located in the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region, at or near Aiken, South Carolina. The primary work site address is 121 Richland Ave E, Aiken, SC 29801, USA. The role provides services and support as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member, supporting technology coordination activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support. The goal is to keep users productive by coordinating devices, vendors, repairs, applications, inventory, and first-line technical support.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Associate’s degree and 2+ years supporting an Information Technology (IT) department or performing IT work.
  • High School diploma/GED and 4+ years of related secondary education and/or experience supporting an IT department or performing IT work.
  • PC lifecycle and lease management; device configuration; inventory; printer service coordination; mobile-device administration; first-level application support; user training
  • Customer service; vendor coordination; problem solving; asset accountability; communication; process improvement
  • Knowledgeable on PC hardware and software implementation and configuration.
  • Knowledgeable about the technology of cell/smartphones and tablets (iPad etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Customer oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.
  • Monitors the status of PC leases to ensure that new PCs are ordered and delivered prior to the lease expiration date.
  • Works with users to determine the appropriate PC configuration to meet their needs.
  • Resolves issues between users and PC vendor(s).
  • Performs inventory of PCs to verify appropriate repurpose.
  • Acts as interface between user, M&O contractor and vendor for all printer repairs.
  • Monitors all printer repair orders to ensure work is done in a timely manner.
  • Continuously works to improve the PC, printer and mobile device processes.
  • Prepares reports documenting PC lease and printer repair statistics.
  • Ensures appropriate approvals and coordinates the distribution and tracking of all mobile devices (i.e., iPads and cellular phones).
  • Works with wireless vendor to resolve mobile device issues.
  • May provides first level technical support for mobile devices. Works with wireless vendor to resolve mobile device issues.
  • May serve as first level technical support for assigned business systems applications.
  • Stays current with system information, changes and updates.
