About The Position

MTSI is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology student for a cooperative educational (Coop) position in our Huntsville, AL office. This role involves actively participating in the day-to-day lab-related activities of the Army Field Integration team. The intern will receive training to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responsibilities also include reviewing existing technical solutions for improvements and efficiencies of software modules, performing analysis of system operations, and troubleshooting operating systems, database management, and network systems. The intern will utilize analytical data to identify operational trends and implement escalation and resolution techniques.

Requirements

• Full time student, majoring in Information Technology or related degree.
• Initiative, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt well to different situations and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.
