About The Position

St. Joseph's Center is looking for a Help Desk Technician to provide technical support to employees across their organization. The Help Desk Technician serves as the first point of contact for employees who need technical assistance. This position provides on-site support at various St. Joseph's Center locations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting computer and software issues, setting up equipment, assisting users with technology questions, and helping ensure technology systems run smoothly throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technology issues and solve problems effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Experience in Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to technology support requests by phone, email, ticket system, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer, software, printer, and network issues.
  • Set up, install, and deploy computers and other equipment.
  • Install and support printers, copiers, and other technology devices.
  • Reset passwords and help employees access their accounts.
  • Assist staff with Microsoft 365 programs such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Prioritize support requests and escalate issues when needed.
  • Travel between St. Joseph's Center locations to provide on-site support.
  • Assist with basic network and cabling tasks.
  • Keep accurate records of support requests and solutions.
  • Help maintain IT documentation and knowledge resources.
