About The Position

This position supports users and technology that keep agency operations functioning each day. The work includes troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and ensuring systems run properly. As an Information Technology Generalist 1, you will perform the following duties: Technical Support: Assist users with hardware, software, and network issues across multiple locations System Maintenance: Install, update, and service devices such as workstations, mobile equipment, and peripherals Incident Resolution: Analyze and resolve IT problems and escalate complex issues when needed Network Tools Use: Operate administrative tools to monitor systems and identify root causes of technology issues Documentation Tasks: Record work activities and manage service requests through established ticketing systems Equipment Coordination: Manage setup, testing, repair, and replacement of technology equipment for supported sites.

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • One or more years of full-time experience working with Active Directory
  • Experience imaging Windows workstations
  • Experience in working user incidents through Incident Management software (e.g., Remedy, Service Now)
  • Experience using Microsoft Configuration Manager console
  • Experience with IT Asset Management
  • Experience providing mobile device management through Microsoft InTune
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions
  • Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
