About The Position

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Financial Analyst to join the Boeing Defense, Space and Security Product Lifecycle Management team. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) Financial Analyst to support the Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) organization. In this role, you’ll partner with program, development, and infrastructure teams to provide budgeting, forecasting, spend analysis, and stakeholder reporting that drive financial visibility and informed decision-making. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience planning and managing a financial budget
  • 3+ years of experience with business operations and/or business process improvements
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and/or data mining
  • 3+ years of experience developing presentations for and presenting to executive leadership
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and data Manipulation
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Manage financials for the division including developing and maintaining the 5-year long-range business plan, managing monthly opportunities and risks, and supporting funding decisions with data analysis
  • Take ownership of financial processes and outcomes, ensuring accountability for budget management and financial reporting accuracy
  • Develop and maintain monthly performance metrics and dashboards to track portfolio performance (budget vs actual) and inform decision-making
  • Optimize resource allocation across the division, ensuring that investments are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver maximum value
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed
  • Identify financial challenges and opportunities, developing innovative solutions to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Support organizational change initiatives related to portfolio management, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication throughout the process (e.g. budget transfers, increases, decreases)
