About The Position
This position is for a high school teacher under contract with a district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy, or Washington counties to teach MCC Information Technology courses for dual credit at their home high school.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational experience OR Associate's degree, current relevant industry certification, and 2 years full-time related occupational experience.
- For INFO 1000 course: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years full-time related occupational experience.
- Currently employed high school teacher who will be under contract with a local school district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties
Responsibilities
- Deliver MCC course objectives in the high school dual credit classroom
- Ensure academic rigor aligns with on-campus expectations
- Participate in departmental course assessments
- Complete required curriculum training
- Maintain an MCC-aligned course syllabus
- Uphold professional and ethical standards
