About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) Business Partner (Mid-level or Senior) to join our team in Everett, WA. This hands-on, face-to-face role partners directly with our airplane manufacturing value stream teams to integrate IT disciplines, products and services that enable Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) success. As the IT liaison embedded with the airplane production team, you will be the primary, in-person interface to understand business priorities, observe workflows firsthand and coordinate practical IT strategies that enable production objectives. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working across information technology disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience interacting with mechanics and functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, etc.
  • Experience working on complex projects with large teams to execute requirements that include Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality
  • Experience with Project and Product Management
  • Experience with putting key initiatives into operation that have produced significant productivity and efficiency gains for an organization or program
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the use of large language models (LLM) and related technology to improve workflows, and solve use cases

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a production-first mindset with constant focus on supporting BCA Programs to deliver safe, quality airplanes on time to our airline customers
  • Act as a visible, accessible presence in the manufacturing environment, building trust through hands-on engagement
  • Identify potential production system risks and issues and work with IT product teams to develop pragmatic mitigation and contingency strategies
  • Facilitate rapid resolution for critical production-impacting events through direct coordination with stakeholders and technical teams
  • Collaborate with BCA production team members at all levels to ensure continuous alignment on priorities, diagnose problems and drive initiatives, engaging with the necessary IT resources to develop and deploy solutions
  • Provide input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques from a manufacturing value stream perspective
  • Demonstrate the Boeing Values and Behaviors: strengthen organizational culture, remove roadblocks for production teams, and be a champion for continuous improvement on the factory floor
