We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Information Systems Supervisor at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Three years of experience in complex systems design, programming and systems software and support
- Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems
- Knowledge of current equipment and technologies in use
- Knowledge of Unix system administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
- Knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL database administration
- Knowledge of effective project management techniques
- Knowledge of principles and practices of effective management and supervision
Responsibilities
- Managing the Information Systems personnel
- Leading or assisting in the planning, implementation, and introduction of projects for new systems and technologies
- Identifies existing skills, roles, and responsibilities of each employee
- Identifies all projects, prioritizes them, sets timelines, and holds regular meetings
- Leads planning and/or implementation of select projects
- May participate in the design and/or testing phases
- Presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
