About The Position

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and requires U.S. Citizenship. The role involves performing duties as an Information Systems Security Officer at the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton, Colorado. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain SECRET clearance prior to start.
  • Have and maintain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or Higher or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
  • Basic experience with developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Information Systems auditing experience.
  • Experience working with ICD 503 and/or DCSA DAAG (formerly DAAPM)
  • Experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, and Splunk.
  • Experience working with eMASS.
  • Experience performing; security system hardening, analysis, vulnerability management, DISA STIGs.
  • Prior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) or System Administration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations.
  • Carry out technical security administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer cybersecurity requirements, primarily the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
  • Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices outlined in the security plan.
  • Auditing is a large part of this role’s responsibility.
