About The Position

SageCor Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to support information security on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. The role helps create and enforce security policies and procedures, manage daily security operations, and maintain system security posture. It assesses security risks and solutions for critical information, manages security settings for software, hardware, and firmware, and reviews the security impact of system changes.

The position prepares and reviews security documentation, including SSPs, risk assessments, C&A packages, and SRTMs, and supports system authorization under the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF). It uses Splunk to monitor security events, analyze logs, and support incident response. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Five years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; or encryption techniques/tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of ISSO experience substituted for the degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.
