About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to maintain responsibility for cybersecurity activities associated with day-to-day security operations and software development lifecycles within CMOS, OLVIMS and MARKS. CMOS is a joint use program used by various branches of the military to automate and streamline cargo movement processes. OLVIMS Dispatch manages transportation requests, dispatches vehicles, and issues/tracks Air Force Motor Vehicle Operator Identification Cards. MARKS supports household good shipments for military members and DoD civilians by managing related documentation. This position supports the GBS Transportation Systems portfolio of these applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight of which must be in the DoD.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Hold and maintain a personnel certification associated with the DCWF ISSM work role (722) at an advanced (senior) proficiency level as outlined in DoDI 8510.01, AFMAN 17-1305 and AFI 17-101 for assigned systems/applications.

Responsibilities

Maintain responsibility for cybersecurity activities associated with day-to-day security operations and software development lifecycles within CMOS, OLVIMS and MARKS.
Ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the assigned IT.
Maintain situational awareness and initiate actions to improve or restore cybersecurity posture.
Serve as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the AO, PM, and ISO.
Ensure the integration of cybersecurity into, and throughout, the lifecycle of the IT, on behalf of the AO and in accordance with DoDI 8510.01.
Complete and maintain required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1305.
Ensure all AF IT cybersecurity-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Support the PM or ISO in maintaining current authorization to operate, approval to connect (if required), and implementing corrective actions identified in the plan of actions and milestones.
Coordinate, with the PM and AO staffs, development of an ISCM strategy and monitor any proposed or actual changes to the system and its environment.
Continuously monitor the IT and environment for security-relevant events.
Assess proposed configuration changes for potential impact to the cybersecurity posture.
Assess the quality of security controls implementation against performance indicators.
Ensure cybersecurity-related events or configuration changes that impact AF IT authorization or adversely impact the security posture are formally reported to the AO and other affected parties.
Ensure all ISSOs and privileged users receive necessary technical training and obtain cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1301, Computer Security (COMPUSEC), AFMAN 17-1305, and maintain proper clearances IAW DoDI 8500.01.
Ensure the AF IT is acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of properly IAW DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 8510.01.
Hold and maintain a personnel certification associated with the DCWF ISSM work role (722) at an advanced (senior) proficiency level as outlined in DoDI 8510.01, AFMAN 17-1305 and AFI 17-101 for assigned systems/applications.
