Requirements

6+ years of experience in information systems security or cybersecurity
Experience supporting and securing Air Force or DoD systems
Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD cybersecurity policies
Ability to assess, document, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science field
DoD 8570.01 M-IAT II certification such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or GSEC

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud security and emerging technologies
Experience with classified environments and secure facility operations
Experience in leadership or team management
Knowledge of Air Force-specific cybersecurity requirements and tools
Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CAP
