Key responsibilities include updating software and enhancing existing capabilities. The position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms used across Autodesk, building automated workflows and services for seamless data exchange, system interoperability, and secure access management between tools like Airtable, Productboard, Jira, and other collaboration platforms. The engineer will leverage RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript to build scalable, secure, and maintainable integrations. Developing custom APIs and middleware services, transforming and normalizing data for cross-system compatibility, and creating system-level automation to reduce manual effort and error are also crucial. The role requires working with authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys, SSO) and enforcing access controls. Security and compliance are essential, ensuring integrations adhere to corporate governance and privacy standards. Collaboration with stakeholders from product, engineering, and security teams to identify business needs and design technical solutions is expected. The engineer will also develop alerting and remediation workflows, support platform migrations, and contribute to strategic tooling decisions, directly supporting productivity, collaboration, and operational excellence across Autodesk’s global organization. The role may require travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the United States, and telecommuting is permitted.
