About The Position

Amicalola EMC has an immediate opening for an Information Systems Administrator. This position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the Cooperative's information technology systems and infrastructure. The role will assist in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the Cooperative's technology environment and will provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree in computer science, information technology, or closely related field.
Experience in computer services and maintenance preferred.
Experience working with a virtual server environment, and with managing Windows Operating Systems (both server and desktop).
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written and oral communication skills are essential.
Must have the ability to work independently, manage time, and possess personal initiative.
Ability to effectively conduct training sessions.
Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Experience with an on-premise PBX system is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitors, maintains and supports the IT system operation and system development in support of the Cooperative's business operations.
Administers server and storage environment.
Assists in troubleshooting local and wide area networks.
Provides risk management, Information Systems Security incident reporting and personnel training focused on identifying and mitigating risks to a minimum level.
Ensures policies and procedures are in place for implementing safeguards, standardized security procedures, and protection of information and Information Systems resources to allow only authorized people to access the Cooperative's systems and networks.
Other duties or projects as required.
