About The Position

Information Systems Specialist Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a full-time Information Systems Specialist to join its highly energetic and solution-driven technical team. This is an In-person role.

Requirements

• Proficiency with standard operating systems (Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS) and PC workstations required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

• A Computer Science degree (or related degree/experience) from an accredited institution or technology certifications (including CompTIA A+, Comp TIA Network, MSCE, and MCP) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure environments preferred.
• Knowledge of back-up and messaging components and enterprise components such as firewalls, enterprise switches and routers.
• Experience with EMR Software, Modern MDM, SSO, and cloud computing preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site (Level 1 & 2) help desk support and helps manage the IT components of the agency.
• Responsible for technical support for routine operations and troubleshooting.
• Assists with the implementation and management of IT projects.
• Responsible for basic “break-fix” capabilities.
• Liaises with outsourced IT service providers as appropriate.
