About The Position

As an Information System Security Officer on the team, you will work with system owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security controls are implemented to reduce risk. You will identify cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop mitigation plans, gathering technical, environmental, and personnel details from subject-matter experts and engineers to assess the threat landscape. You will help guide the client through a plan of action and translate security concepts so the client can make informed decisions about securing mission-critical systems. The role supports protection of the aerospace industry and offers the opportunity to contribute to information security while developing risk-management skills.

Requirements

• Experience as an Information System Security Officer.
• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and NIST 800-53.
• Ability to articulate security requirements and concerns to a variety of stakeholders.
• Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
