JMBM is seeking a highly qualified Information Services Specialist for the Los Angeles office. The successful candidate will have experience with researching, maintaining and monitoring dockets, a keen attention to detail, as well as excellent organizational skills. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience required.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with rules-based calendaring software preferred (ex. Compulaw or Milana).
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery software preferred (ex. Relativity)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your analytical skills to complete conflict searches and send them to the appropriate party.
  • Apply your organizational skills to compile and distribute Account Information Forms (AIFs) and supporting documents.
  • Support various departments by completing and sending engagement letters.
  • Exercise strong coordination skills to assist with entering and maintaining data in the Firm's docketing and calendaring systems.
  • Employ your attention to detail to correctly add new clients/matters into Aderant and facilitate the file opening process.
  • Collaborate with IP to enter new trademark applications into the IP Docketing system (Pattsy Wave), maintain IP docketing data, and manage incoming inquiries from attorneys and secretaries.
  • Work with the Litigation department to complete eDiscovery projects and other litigation support tasks.
  • Engage with peers and other administrative teams to assist with overflow work, special projects, and other miscellaneous tasks needed.
