About The Position

Link Solutions is seeking Information Security Specialists (Intermediate/Senior) to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role supports the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) headquarters, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information systems supporting mission-critical operations. The specialist will collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, systems administration, and operations teams to implement and maintain security controls, ensure regulatory compliance, manage risk, and support accreditation efforts across enterprise environments. Responsibilities include administering cybersecurity programs, Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, vulnerability management initiatives, and information assurance requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with DoD cybersecurity policies, NIST standards, accreditation processes, and enterprise security technologies, protecting critical Government systems while supporting continuous monitoring, compliance initiatives, and mission readiness.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Secret Clearance.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).
  • Four (4+) years of experience supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, or information security programs (Intermediate-Level).
  • Eight (8+) years of experience supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, or information security programs (Senior-Level).
  • Experience supporting RMF, vulnerability management, compliance initiatives, and cybersecurity operations (Intermediate-Level).
  • Extensive experience supporting RMF, security authorization efforts, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity compliance requirements (Senior-Level).
  • Baseline certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, IT Service Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CySA+, CASP+, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Microsoft certifications supporting Windows 10, Windows 11, or Microsoft 365 Endpoint environments.
  • Familiarity with the installation, configuration, and security hardening of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with ACAS, Trellix, and enterprise vulnerability management solutions.
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and related cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience implementing and validating security controls in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Experience with eMASS, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and federal cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
  • Experience with knowledge management initiatives, process development, and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-profile or VIP customers.
  • Experience leading small teams and fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations, directives, and security requirements.
  • Provide Risk Management Framework (RMF), certification, accreditation, and cybersecurity policy support for Government information systems.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Information Assurance (IA) and cybersecurity program plans.
  • Develop procedures to ensure users understand and acknowledge cybersecurity responsibilities before receiving system access.
  • Conduct security assessments and provide analytical support to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and violations.
  • Support system authorization and accreditation efforts in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated into Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) and contingency planning activities.
  • Ensure cybersecurity requirements are appropriately incorporated into operational procedures and technical documentation.
  • Collect, maintain, and report data required for cybersecurity compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure personnel records, assignment orders, user agreements, and privileged access documentation are properly maintained within applicable Army and DoD tracking systems.
  • Work closely with system owners and administrators to identify, track, and remediate vulnerabilities, IAVMs, and ICVMs.
  • Develop, track, and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) in accordance with DoD guidance and timelines.
  • Support continuous monitoring activities, security audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and operational teams to improve security posture and support mission objectives.
