About The Position
This position is for an Information Security Manager to lead the Security Operations Center (SOC). The role involves defending against cyber threats, leading a team of skilled analysts, and ensuring threats are identified and addressed quickly and effectively. The manager will be the strategist, motivator, and protector, ensuring defenses stay sharp and the team stays ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- 5+ years in cybersecurity
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and incident response frameworks.
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to handle high-stakes incidents without breaking a sweat.
- Stays on top of emerging threats and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of SOC analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee real-time monitoring, incident response, detection engineering and threat hunting activities.
- Implement cutting-edge tools and processes to enhance detection and response capabilities.
- Partner with Information Security, IT, network, and application teams to strengthen security posture.
- Track SOC performance, report on KPIs, and communicate results to leadership.
