About The Position

Apple Bank is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Information Security Intern for its summer internship program. This 10-week paid program offers collaborative, hands-on learning to sharpen professional skills. The program focuses on development through work experience, formal learning, self-knowledge, and mentorship. Interns will engage in meaningful work within their assigned department, contribute to a team project presented to Senior Leadership, and benefit from individual development opportunities, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor’s degree program as a rising Senior.
Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
Currently authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.
Experience using Microsoft O365 tools, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
Ability to work both independently and on a team.
Organizational skills, a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership potential.
Ability to prepare deliverables for meetings while exhibiting professionalism, maturity, and insight.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Innovative and creative problem-solving ability.
Intellectual curiosity, cooperation, and focus in achieving group and client objectives.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts such as the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), threat types, and risk management basics.
Familiarity with networking and security technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, CASB, and DLP.

Responsibilities

Participate in onboarding, training, and team building activities during the first week.
Engage in meaningful work within the assigned department.
Contribute to a team project focused on a real business concern, culminating in a presentation to Senior Leadership.
Develop professional skills through hands-on experience, formal learning, self-knowledge, and mentorship.
