About The Position

The Information Security Engineer will configure and implement security controls for AI-driven coding tools. The role integrates controls with Docker containers and Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines, tests and troubleshoots the controls, and documents any remaining gaps. The engineer will also create support documentation and transfer knowledge to County staff. Deliverables include working, version-controlled security configurations; documented test results and operating procedures; and a completed handoff to County staff. The environment includes Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Docker, Azure DevOps, Linux, Git, JSON, YAML, MCPs, and Skills.

Requirements

Docker configuration and container security skills.
Experience with Azure DevOps repositories, permissions, and pipelines.
Linux administration and scripting skills.
Experience with Git, JSON, and YAML configuration management.

Nice To Haves

Experience securing AI development tools.
Experience with AI-driven development platforms including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Codex.
Experience using MCPs, Skills, and enterprise controls within Claude, GPT, and Copilot.

Responsibilities

Configure security controls for AI-driven coding tools.
Implement permissions, execution restrictions, network access controls, credential protection, and logging.
Integrate security configurations with Docker containers and Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines.
Test controls and troubleshoot issues.
Document remaining security gaps.
Create support documentation and transfer knowledge to County staff.
Deliver working, version-controlled security configurations, documented test results and operating procedures, and a completed handoff to County staff.
