About The Position

Micron is modernizing its global physical security infrastructure to establish a consistent, standards-based technology environment across its sites. Systems include video surveillance and analytics, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, and perimeter protection. The role owns the end-to-end rollout of these connected security platforms, including planning, sequencing, site readiness, execution, and measurement, in partnership with Global Security Operations leadership. Security operators and site leaders are treated as customers whose requirements guide deployments. The position manages a multi-year, multi-site deployment program, translating standards and reference designs into repeatable deployment practices. It applies a product and agile mindset to requirements, backlogs, operational outcomes, tooling, and iterative improvement. The role also coordinates integrators and internal partners, establishes governance and audits, manages risks and change, and reports rollout progress, spending, compliance, and system health to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years in software product management or software engineering, including ownership of delivering a product or platform to users.
  • Experience leading cross-functional delivery involving multiple teams and external partners, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
  • Working knowledge of networked systems, APIs, and integrations.
  • Scripting or data analysis skills sufficient to build tooling, automate reporting, and hold technical discussions with engineers and integrators.
  • Hands-on use of generative AI tools such as copilots, LLM-based assistants, or agents in day-to-day work, with judgment about when human review is needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level status reports and presentations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience rolling out technology across many sites or regions with global teams, such as IoT or edge device fleets, enterprise infrastructure, or manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with device fleet management, configuration management, or monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience applying AI/ML for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, or automated workflows.
  • Experience with construction, facilities, or capital projects, including management of integrators or contractors through statements of work and acceptance testing.
  • Exposure to physical security systems such as video surveillance, access control, or intrusion detection, ideally in semiconductor, manufacturing, or other high-security industrial environments.
  • Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP.

Responsibilities

  • Own and run a multi-year, multi-site global physical security infrastructure deployment plan, sequencing sites by risk and readiness and managing scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and concurrent regional projects.
  • Partner with security engineering to convert technology standards and reference designs into deployment playbooks, site readiness checklists, and acceptance criteria.
  • Gather requirements from security operators, site security leaders, and regional teams; prioritize a backlog, define site completion criteria, refine deployment practices, and measure operational outcomes using agile practices.
  • Develop or adopt tools for deployment tracking, configuration standards checks, device health monitoring, and global asset and lifecycle management.
  • Use AI tools and agents for program tasks such as site assessments, status reporting, risk identification, and documentation, and ensure AI video analytics data integrates with the security operations data platform.
  • Manage external integrators and contractors through statements of work, schedules, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate with IT and network teams, Information Security, Facilities and construction teams, and EHS.
  • Establish program governance, track site compliance with security technology standards, and conduct post-deployment audits to verify installation, configuration, and operation.
  • Identify and escalate program risks, drive decisions to resolution, and plan operator training and cutover to support adoption.
  • Create metrics and dashboards covering rollout progress, spend, site compliance, and system health; present status, risks, and trade-offs to senior leadership.
