About The Position

Information Security Engineer - Customer Identity Access Management (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO) Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and databases and define, implement, maintain information security practices and technologies to ensure appropriate protection of company’s data (25%). Research, recommend, and implement changes to enhance security posture for customer accounts and data, and improve upon customer experience (25%). Implement and maintain global Multifactor Authentication (MFA) rollout for all customers across multiple ecosystems and geographies (15%). Manage vendor relationship, open and track support tickets for ongoing initiatives, identify and drive roadmap of enhancements with vendor (10%). Educate and communicate security requirements and procedures to all users, provides technical guidance to teams across technology org (15%). Operate with little to no guidance to drive delivery of high value initiatives (10%). Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC at 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience as an Information Security Analyst, Systems Analyst, Information Security Engineer or any occupation/job title/position supporting execution and enhancement of a customer Identity Access Management program.
  • 5 years of professional experience implementing and supporting IAM solutions utilizing tools including Ping Identity and PingFederate.
  • 5 years of professional experience working with cross functional teams and communicating effectively to leadership.
  • 5 years of professional experience supporting Agile delivery processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, maintaining Agile ceremonies, and tracking and reporting performance metrics across cross-functional teams.
  • 5 years of professional experiencing implementing companywide CIAM programs utilizing knowledge and skills including LDAP, SAML, and OIDC.
  • 5 years of professional experiencing using technical skills, proactive troubleshooting, and deploying secure, scalable, user-friendly CIAM services that are aligned with enterprise standards.
  • 2 years of professional experience prioritizing workload and handling multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and alignment with business objectives.
  • 1 year of professional experience implementing and supporting IAM solutions as part of broader cybersecurity initiatives.
  • 1 year of professional experience utilizing PingOne Advanced Services, PingDirectory, WebAuthN, and OAuth 2.1 standards.
