About The Position

Parsons is seeking an Information Security Analyst to serve as Deputy Team Lead for the Cyber Incident Response Team. The role supports cybersecurity operations, compliance, and system readiness initiatives for the Federal Solutions team, working with a prime contractor, government agencies, and military stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 8 or more years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 5 or more years of related experience.
An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience using eMASS to manage cybersecurity compliance activities, security authorization documentation, and system accreditation milestones.
Active Secret security clearance.
Experience with Splunk, Elastic, and Linux.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the prime contractor, government agencies, and military stakeholders to support system readiness.
Develop and maintain incident response processes in accordance with applicable agency policies and requirements.
Perform log analysis and monitoring in support of managed services offerings.
Review eMASS to ensure the timely completion of cybersecurity compliance tasks and system accreditation milestones.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned and appropriate for the position.
