About The Position
Reporting to the Manager, Information Security, the Information Security Analyst supports security operations with a focus on investigation, digital forensics, and reporting. This replacement role contributes to protecting systems and data through monitoring, forensic analysis, and communication of risks and threats.
Requirements
- University degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in security operations or incident response
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and investigation tooling
- Exposure to digital forensics methodologies
- Understanding of network, endpoint, and identity security
Responsibilities
- Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and security platforms
- Conduct investigations to determine root cause, scope, and impact
- Perform digital forensic analysis on endpoints, servers, and cloud environments
- Collect and preserve evidence following chain-of-custody principles
- Analyze logs, disk images, and memory artifacts
- Prepare defensible investigation and forensic reports
- Communicate findings to stakeholders
- Maintain threat intelligence awareness
