About The Position

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Information Security Analyst - I to join their team. The ideal candidate will perform information security risk assessments, security improvement processes, and administration of security-related software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer-related field OR Associate’s Degree, plus 2 or more years of experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in role as a Security Analyst OR one year of experience or advanced knowledge with at least two of the following, or similar software: Symantec Endpoint Protection, Cisco Security Agent, Microsoft WSUS, Syslog, RADIUS.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related area
• Security certifications
• Network certifications
• three or more years of experience in a technical setting

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate anti-virus solution.
• Maintain, document, and support corporate patch management solution.
• Responsible for administration of host-based IPS.
• Responsible for auditing security logs for servers, routers, firewalls, etc.
• Perform vulnerability scans, and resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Participate in on call program as designated by MIS management.
