About The Position

Exciting opening for an Information Assurance SME to support a large customer organization in the fast-growing National Security Group. This position is located in Bethesda, MD. Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following: Respond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues; turning cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions; developing and maintaining a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans; analyzing cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Be able to contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies and influence the trajectory of ICAM, Zero Trust and other Cyber security areas in the IC. You will also be developing and publishing baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies. Providing guidance and recommendations for Security related issues Firm understanding of the Cybersecurity requirements across the IC Understanding of National Security Systems initiatives Familiarity with the IC policy update process Familiarity with DNI structure and processes Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to sit in technical exchange meetings and provide input to customers

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • BS/BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above
  • Secure cloud architecture expertise
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate
  • Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities
  • Familiarity with Identity, Authentication and Authorization
  • Experience partnering across the IC

Nice To Haves

  • Firm understanding of the Cybersecurity requirements across the IC
