About The Position

SGS is seeking a Information Assurance Engineer III for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. This role manages and oversees all aspects of cyber security for onsite systems. The engineer will identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to systems and networks and implement necessary security measures to nullify those threats. They will analyze the organization's network and systems security measures and update them as necessary to maintain security compliance. This role also assists in updating and maintaining the organization's security documentation, including policies, standards, and best practices. The engineer will record and report incidents to upper management, ensure the integrity and protection of networks and systems through the implementation of secure policies and procedures, and educate employees on standards and best practices to mitigate the risk of data exposure.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
5+ yrs of recent relevant experience
Certifications: CISSP-ISSMP or GSLC or Legacy CCSP or CISSP.
TS/SCI Clearance
