About The Position

The Information Architect role provides overall direction, guidance, and definition for the development of current and future information architecture required to meet business needs. Responsibilities include aligning IS architecture to match business needs, supporting current IS strategies, identifying business drivers to derive useful context, and analyzing the current IS ecosystem to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. The Information Architect is responsible for improving business performance through enterprise information solutions, such as metadata management, business intelligence, analytics, and related information infrastructure components. The focus is on the information repositories and information flows that will meet the requirements of business strategies and business processes. The Information Architect collaborates with all workstreams to proactively assist business process owners in analyzing requirements, defining scope, and managing projects. They are involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design, and implementation. Additional responsibilities include establishing overall architectural viewpoints and oversight of organization standards and policies. Architects identify major system interfaces, business capabilities needs, and existing architecture weaknesses and opportunities for systems.

Requirements

  • At least one implementation on SAP HANA as architect.
  • Hands-on experience on HANA Model.
  • Self-driven, motivated individual who can efficiently influence delivery in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and external business partners.
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience to build, configure, administer, troubleshoot and support information technologies and solutions such as: SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP ECC and S4 HANA.
  • Excellent analytical skills to investigate problems in systems, processes, services and contribute to the implementation of remedies and preventative measures.
  • Capability to dissect a problem into its component parts to identify and diagnose root causes, allowing problem resolution.
  • Ability to maintain focus on service delivery and ensure IT products, suppliers, and vendors come together to deliver an IT service.
  • Able to build and test simple interfaces between systems, or work on more complex integration as part of a wider team.
  • Integrates and tests components, systems, and their interfaces to create operational services.
  • Ability to plan, design, manage, execute and report tests, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis, Business or a related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of working experience in SAP ECC, S/4 HANA.
  • Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, system engineering and integration.
