Informatics Pharmacist
About The Position
As an Informatics Pharmacist, you will use clinical and technical expertise to shape pharmacy operations, enhance medication safety, and support compliance. The role optimizes and supports pharmacy informatics systems, technologies, and workflows; promotes operational efficiency and continuous improvement; and supports drug diversion monitoring programs and tools. You will also contribute to the integrity of the medication-use process and supply chain and provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, including dispensing and drug information, in accordance with hospital standards and pharmacy law. The position can be remote one day per week; otherwise, it is onsite.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program.
- At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Current Kansas pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure is highly preferred.
Nice To Haves
- ASHP-accredited residency.
- Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or a related certification.
- Experience in pharmacy automation, informatics, or IT applications.
- Knowledge of EHRs, medication-use systems, and regulatory requirements for controlled substances.
