About The Position

iQuasar is seeking to fill an Informatica/Linux Admin position in Washington, DC. This is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days on-site. The Sr. Informatica/Linux Admin will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Informatica platforms and Linux-based servers that support enterprise data integration and analytics solutions. Key duties include monitoring system performance, managing user access, scheduling and optimizing Informatica workflows, and ensuring the high availability and reliability of environments. The role also involves performing regular patching, upgrades, and security hardening, as well as managing backups, recovery procedures, and environment migrations. The administrator will collaborate with data engineers, developers, and security teams to troubleshoot complex issues, enhance system stability, and document configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant practical experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Active or interim Secret security clearance (or higher).
  • Strong experience administering Informatica (PowerCenter, IDQ, MDM).
  • Strong Linux system administration and patch management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or Shell).
  • Knowledge of networking, storage, and enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Experience with security compliance, access control, and change management.
  • Strong communication skills for on-site collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Informatica platforms and Linux servers.
  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and Informatica workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and manage user access.
  • Handle patching, upgrades, security hardening, backups, and migrations.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Automate administrative tasks using scripting.
  • Collaborate with data, dev, and security teams, and document procedures.
