About The Position

Our client is seeking an Informatica IDMC Data Architect for a temporary project estimated to last 12+ months with possible extensions. This role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL, with no telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement. The position is a contract role filled exclusively through approved staffing partners. The role involves providing technical, data, and process subject matter expertise for the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform (EDAP) project. Responsibilities include profiling source system data, documenting data models, designing and supporting data pipelines, implementing and supporting BI/GIS/Data Science tool connections, and ensuring compliance with data security, privacy (HIPAA), and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL
  • Experience with data and analytics (D&A) solution design and business collaboration in a healthcare/administration environment (5+ years)
  • Experience with data warehouse modeling, engineering, and support (normalized and dimensional), including Snowflake Data Warehouse (2+ years)
  • Experience with cloud-based data lakes and Lakehouse structures (AWS S3, Parquet, Delta Lake, Hudi, Iceberg, Databricks) (2+ years)
  • Experience with data modeling (Entity Relationship, Logical, Conceptual, Physical) and advanced proficiency with Erwin data modeler (7+ years)
  • Experience with data pipeline/integration tools using Informatica, including the IDMC suite (CDI, CDQ, CDP, CDIR) (5+ years)
  • Experience with SQL programming (5+ years) and Python or a similar object-oriented programming language (3+ years)
  • Experience engineering relational databases (both row and columnar store) and NoSQL databases (Document, Graph, Vector, Key-Value) (5+ years), AWS cloud infrastructure (3+ years) and DevOps/DataOps processes (2+ years)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics/Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Health Informatics, or a related field
  • Current data and/or analytics certification (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) or 18+ hours of related webinar/conference participation over the last 3 years as a substitute

  • Experience with data and analytics testing/QA best practices, tools, and automation (5+ years)
  • Experience with metadata and data catalog management (2+ years)
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) using Informatica IDMC Customer 360/Reference 360 (2+ years)
  • Experience with cloud-based BI tools such as Qlik and Tableau (4+ years)
  • Experience with Data Science/Machine Learning platforms such as Dataiku (2+ years)
  • Experience with AWS Lambda functions

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, data, and process subject matter expertise for the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform (EDAP) project
  • Profile source system data using Informatica Cloud Data Profiling to identify and document data issues for remediation
  • Document current and target state data models (ERD, logical, physical, dimensional) in Erwin in collaboration with business subject matter experts and architects
  • Design, develop, and support data pipelines, including ingestion, data lake layers, warehouse structures, and lakehouse tables, ensuring quality, security, and performance
  • Design and support Informatica IDMC MDM/RDM processes, including data ingestion, match/merge logic, and golden record management
  • Implement and support BI (Qlik, Tableau), GIS (ESRI), and Data Science/ML (Dataiku) tool connections, including fine-grained user access controls
  • Ensure the EDAP design and implementation meet data security, privacy (HIPAA), and regulatory compliance requirements
