Informatica, ETL, Teradata & DBT Developer
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Informatica ETL Developer / Data Engineer with 10 years of experience to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS and DBT. You will develop and optimize data integration solutions across Teradata, cloud, and enterprise data platforms, and create, manage, and enhance DBT models, transformations, testing, and deployment processes. The position requires designing and implementing complex data mappings, workflows, sessions, and reusable components, as well as performing data analysis, cleansing, profiling, and reconciliation to ensure data quality. Optimization of Teradata queries, data models, and workloads for high-performance data processing is crucial. You will collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions, implement data governance, metadata management, and ETL best practices. Support for production deployments, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and incident resolution is also part of the role, along with developing technical documentation and ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards. Experience with the iACV domain at Cisco is also mentioned.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter/IICS.
- Hands-on expertise in Teradata database development and performance tuning.
- Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for ELT transformations and data modeling.
- Strong SQL programming and query optimization skills.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns and data integration best practices.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Cisco experienced with iACV domain.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with data quality and data governance frameworks.
