The Contractor will develop new features/enhancements, refactor legacy ETL code, and fix bugs for the Business Intelligence and Analytics team. The Contractor will own tasks through the entire software development lifecycle from concept to release to production, including documenting business requirements, documenting the development approach, implementing code changes, testing, gathering approvals, and migrating code. The Contractor will develop code changes, unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests in accordance with development standards and best practices. The Contractor will develop code changes based on functional requirements defined via business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specification design documents (FSDs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), or other written/verbal instructions. The Contractor will collaborate with business analysts, program managers, and other contractors to determine functional and technical requirements. The Contractor will also own report/dashboard delivery tasks from development through support, including documenting the development approach, implementing code changes, testing, gathering approvals, migrating code, and supporting/enhancing code post-production. Additionally, the Contractor will provide support for new and existing data models, ETL pipelines, and data marts, and create and maintain detailed documentation using Google Docs/Sheets/Slides for assigned design/development and testing tasks as prescribed by the BI team.
