About The Position

Derex Technologies Inc is seeking an Informatica Architect with healthcare experience for a role located in Albany, New York. The position focuses on Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) in a data warehouse environment, including architecture, administration, complex ETL development, and handling healthcare data. The architect will collaborate with developers as a team lead on PowerCenter ETL and database architecture.

Requirements

• At least 120 months of experience using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x or higher and IDMC in a data warehouse environment, including advanced warehousing concepts and complex mapping design and development.
• At least 120 months of experience administering Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC, including installation, patching, metadata analysis, ETL code migration, and repository optimization.
• At least 120 months of experience analyzing and converting heterogeneous healthcare systems data into complex ETL code.
• At least 120 months of experience in relational data management disciplines and Oracle solution design and development, including Oracle VPD and FGACA in an enterprise data warehouse environment.
• At least 120 months of experience working with UNIX and/or Linux operating systems.
• At least 120 months of experience collaborating with developers as a team lead in designing PowerCenter ETL and database architecture using advanced data warehousing concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, information science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex mappings using Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x or higher and IDMC in a data warehouse environment.
• Administer Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC, including installation, patching, metadata analysis, ETL code migration, and repository optimization.
• Analyze and convert heterogeneous health systems data—including admission, discharge, census, financial, billing, human resource, payroll, Medicaid, and pharmacy data—into complex ETL code.
• Design and develop relational data management solutions using Oracle technologies, including Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD) and Oracle Fine-Grained Auditing (FGACA), to protect healthcare data such as Medicaid, pharmacy, and HIPAA-protected health information (PHI).
• Collaborate with developers as a team lead to design PowerCenter ETL and database architecture using advanced data warehousing concepts.
