About The Position

Our Info Services team has an opportunity for an avid reader, with a broad knowledge of books, music, and movies, to make recommendations for library customers. This position involves extensive interaction with the public, to provide customers access to the full range of library services via in-person, online chat, and other modes of delivery. Additional advisor responsibilities include facilitating book discussions, writing staff reviews, curating displays, developing reading lists and maintaining online resources.

Requirements

Positive and friendly customer services attitude in alignment with Our Culture and IDEA.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of collaborating in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of popular fiction and nonfiction authors & titles; ability to make recommendations for library customers.
Experience facilitating meetings, group discussions, public speaking or making presentations.
Strong writing skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
