About The Position

Global Payments is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join its global Information Security team. The role helps safeguard the systems, applications, and data that support payment transactions worldwide. It contributes to strengthening the company’s security posture, reducing organizational risk, supporting compliance with industry standards, and enabling secure business growth. Working with experienced security professionals, the analyst supports security solutions, cyber defense capabilities, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability management, risk assessment, security controls, and secure access management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network segmentation, authentication, authorization, and encryption concepts.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and apply established security practices to support business and technology objectives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to learning, continuous improvement, and secure outcomes as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to security technologies such as Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), endpoint monitoring, or vulnerability scanning tools.
• Experience supporting security reviews, compliance activities, or regulatory audit requirements in a technology-driven environment.
• Curiosity about emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry best practices, with a proactive approach to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver and optimize security solutions that reduce risk, protect critical business systems, and support secure enterprise growth.
• Implement and enhance security controls, ensuring threats and vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized, and addressed.
• Support the deployment and use of security technologies to improve monitoring, detection, and response.
• Evaluate emerging security trends, identify opportunities to improve protections, and help align practices with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Assist with incident investigations, security reviews, and remediation activities to strengthen resilience and reduce the likelihood of future security events.
