About The Position

Global Payments is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join its Information Security team and help safeguard the systems, applications, and data that support payment transactions worldwide. The role contributes to strengthening the organization’s security posture, reducing risk, and supporting compliance with industry standards. Working alongside experienced security professionals, the analyst will help deliver and optimize security solutions, support cyber defense capabilities, and contribute to effective incident response and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability management, risk assessment, security controls, and secure access management.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network segmentation, authentication, authorization, and encryption concepts.
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and apply established security practices to support business and technology objectives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a commitment to learning, continuous improvement, and delivering secure outcomes as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to security technologies such as Web Application Firewall (WAF), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), endpoint monitoring, or vulnerability scanning tools.
• Experience supporting security reviews, compliance activities, or regulatory audit requirements in a technology-driven environment.
• Curiosity about emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry best practices, with a proactive approach to professional development.
