Requirements

• Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA, MD, MPH, or PhD with a strong interest in healthcare and technology.
• Can devote 10-15 hours per week to work with us.
• 2-6 years of experience in startups, VC/PE, investment banking, consulting, health system, health plan, etc.
• Demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
• Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with key aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support.
• Conduct in-depth market research and deliver actionable insights through presentations and reports.
• Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across health, wellness, and biotech infrastructure.
• Conduct rigorous diligence on prospective and follow-on investments, evaluating financials, key metrics, and growth opportunities.
• Explore targeted sectors, develop strategic insights, and create detailed market maps to inform investment strategy.
• Build authentic relationships with entrepreneurs and the broader healthcare ecosystem to source deals, identify trends, and generate new opportunities.
• Support our portfolio companies through various ad hoc projects.

Benefits

• Base salary range is $50.00 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
• Eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance.
