Requirements
- Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA, MD, MPH, or PhD with a strong interest in healthcare and technology.
- Can devote 10-15 hours per week to work with us.
- 2-6 years of experience in startups, VC/PE, investment banking, consulting, health system, health plan, etc.
- Demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
- Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with key aspects of the investment process including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support.
- Conduct in-depth market research and deliver actionable insights through presentations and reports.
- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across health, wellness, and biotech infrastructure.
- Conduct rigorous diligence on prospective and follow-on investments, evaluating financials, key metrics, and growth opportunities.
- Explore targeted sectors, develop strategic insights, and create detailed market maps to inform investment strategy.
- Build authentic relationships with entrepreneurs and the broader healthcare ecosystem to source deals, identify trends, and generate new opportunities.
- Support portfolio companies through various ad hoc projects.
